Terracotta Sealers
Terracotta can be highly porous and requires special sealers to protect it as
well as create the desired effect on the surface. Initially, terracotta should be
sealed with a impregnator or primer to fill the pores inside the tiles. The initial
sealing process also prepares the terracotta for the final top coat of wax or
sealant.
Clear or antique finishes can be achieved. Maintenance should be done using
a non aggressive products which have been matched to the protective treatment.
