Deliveries are made using two services. In both instances a signature is required before the goods can be left.
Method 1: Parcel Orders (usually under 30 Kg)
If the shipping cost is less than or equal to £15 (ex VAT) for your basket, orders received before 13.00 hrs will usually be delivered next working day by City Link. You can track your parcel online using your order reference (eg: 0001234) at www.city-link.co.uk. Orders received after 12.00 hrs will be delivered within 48hrs.
We also suggest that you make sure you (or someone else) is in attendance at the shipping address (of the order) to take delivery. If not, the couriers WILL NOT leave the goods unless requested specifically by the recipient. If you think you will not be in attendance, it is a good idea to leave a note for the courier with your delivery instructions. (Please note that all goods left by the courier at the selected shipping/delivery address is done so at the recipients own risk).
IMPORTANT - City Link will try to delivery your parcel twice before a redelivery charge will need to be paid in order for goods to be received. This charge is equal to the initial carriage. If City Link receive no call from a customer after two attempted deliveries they will return the goods to Pure Adhesion Ltd. Redelivery charges will then be charged at the original cost plus the cost of the return (usually the same again).
Method 2: Larger Orders (usually in excess of 30 Kg)
Where shipping is greater than £15.00 (ex VAT) delivery can still be next day for orders placed before 13.00 hrs. We deliver larger orders with vehicles fitted with "tail-lifts" to avoid manual unloading. Most of our materials are delivered in crates or on pallets and when possible we will place in a convenient position such as a driveway etc. subject to reasonable access. When unloaded from the vehicle pallets can only be transported over areas of hard-standing (e.g. concrete or tarmac) and not gravel / rubble. If no one is available to take delivery on the specified day, a re delivery charge will need to be paid before goods are dispatched again.
Channel Islands
Standard orders dispatched to the Channel Islands will be delivered by Royal Mail First Class Post at the same rates as the UK.
If the total weight of the items in your order exceeds 1.5kg, or the dimension of any one of the items in your order exceeds 36 inches (91cm), then we will despatch your order to the Channel Islands by courier.
A flat fee of £40.00 is chargeable for couriered deliveries to the Channel Islands.
Ireland and Oversea / International - Carrage Of Dangerous Goods
It is the policy of City Link & Pure Adhesion not to carry any Dangerous Goods internationally or by aircraft. It is the policy of City Link & Pure Adhesion not to carry any Dangerous Goods internationally or by aircraft.
City Link & Pure Adhesion will only carry Dangerous Goods in limited quantities either by road or sea.
Pure Adhesion Ltd, will refund any payments made which may be in breach of the carrage of dangerous goods terms and conditions.
