Lithofin Oil-Ex - 250ml - Dissolves and Absorbs Oil and Oil based dirt

Lithofin Oil-Ex is a ready-to-use, gel-like paste consisting of a mixture of solvents and highly absorbent solids.

Description:
Lithofin Oil-Ex dissolves and absorbs oil and oil-based dirt. Its paste-like consistency enables the active ingredients to work on the substrate for a long time, so that even deeply ingrained dirt can be successfully removed.

Field of application and suitable surfaces:
For removing oil or grease based dirt from concrete, marble, natural and artificial or reconstituted stone, cement screeds etc. For removing edge staining caused by plasticiser migration from joints. For removing cement laitences, gypsum, lime, and paint spills from polished marble and other sensitive substrates such as chrome, eloxal etc.

Please note:
Allow the product to stay on natural stone surfaces for max. 1 hour. After Lithofin Oil Ex has been used, there should be no dark stains on the surface. Deeply ingrained dirt can be removed by 2 or 3 applications of the product. The active working time pf the product can be prolonged by covering the area with plastic film. Do not apply under -10°C or over 20°C. Do not use on substrates which are sensitive to solvents, lacquered substrates, coated substrates or synthetic substrates. In cases of doubt, it is imperative to first try the product on a small area in an inconspicuous place.

Directions for use:
Removes solids and surface soiling mechanically using a scraper or a brush. Apply Lithofin Oil-Ex to the dry surface and work in using a brush or a scrubbing brush. Apply again so that a coating thickness of at least 2mm is achieved. Allow to dry for about 3-4 hours and then brush off the remaining solids. When used for removing edge staining caused by plasticiser migration from silicone joints, cut out the joint first. To remove cement laitences, gypsum plaster remains and pencil marks etc., apply Lithofin Oil-Ex to a soft cloth and rub onto the surface to be treated.

Coverage:
About 1-2m2/kg/2mm application thickness.

After treatment:
The clean and dry surface is then suitable for treatment with other Lithofin Products.

Storage:
Store in cool and dry conditions. Keep containers closed. May be stored for up to 1 year. Opened containers should be used as quickly as possible.
