Yellow pigment in the acrylic primer aids application
Quick Drying
A milky white dispersion of acrylic polymer in a water base, designed to give maximum penetration into the
substrate for enhanced surface preparation for bonding. Suitable for interior and exterior use and for porous and non-porous substrates including concrete, anhydrate and cement based rendering, ceramic tiles, asphalt and wooden surfaces (incl. chipboard, plywood and floorboards).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Substrate preparation: Substrates should be hard, sound and free from dust, oil, grease, paint, plaster, or any other contaminants which could provide a barrier to adhesion. Preparation of the substrate by mechanical means such as scabbling is recognised as the most effective way to provide a good key. Where a substrate has been subject to chemical contamination advice as to any specific precautions must be sought.
APPLICATION:
STONEFIX Acrylic Primer should be mixed with water in proportion from 1:1 (on slightly absorbent surfaces) to 1:3 (on absorbent surfaces) or use undiluted on wooden surfaces. Particularly absorbent surfaces may require a subsequent bonding coat to prevent air rising from the substrate and affecting the final finish. The primer should be applied with a soft broom ensuring that all puddles and any ponding is brushed out prior to screeding. The primer should not be applied to substrates with a temperature of less than +6oC.
COVERAGE:
Approx. 10-15m2 dependant upon mixing ratio.

When kept in normal dry indoor conditions and protected from frost, this product will retain a 12 month shelf life.
