Substrate Preparation:
Substrate and adhesive shall be dry and stable. Joints should be dry, clean of dust, grease, oil and other substances, which could decrease adhesion. Remaining adhesive mortar should be removed. Time before grouting of joints can start depends on the type of adhesive mortar used.
Technical Conditions:
a - Mixing
mira supercolour grout should be mixed with water in proportion: approx. 0,22 l of water per 1 kg of powder; best results gives mixing with a glue mixer. mira supercolour is ready for use after 1-2 min. of mixing. mira supercolour should be homogenous, without pellets. Do not add water to the prepared supercolour
b - Application
mira supercolour grout should be applied with a rubber spatula or a grouting trowel diagonally in relation to the direction of joints in such way, that joints should be completely filled. When the supercolour is dried-up but still plastic, remove the excess supercolour with hard, well-squeezed sponge; keep the sponge always clean. When the grout is dry, but not completely hardened, polish their surface, for water film and supercolour sludge with a padmaster. The grout will reach full resistance if they will be kept humid for 1-2 days. If the substrate or tiles are absorptive, moisten grout with a sponge. Remove supercolour remaining and sedimentation with mira 7120 ceramic cleaner, but not earlier than 2 days after grouting.
