Mira 3230 superrapidfix (white) Flexible, water and frost resistant, quick hardening special adhesive mortar. Has the same application areas as 3130 superfix, and is used where a quicker hardening time is demanded. Grouting after appr. 1 hour. Supplied in 5 and 15 kg plastic strengthened paper bags. Highly elastic, quick hardening thin-layer adhesive mortar for fixing of ceramic and clinker tiles, gres (stone ware), mosaic, marbles and thin semitransparent tiles of natural stones.
Coverage: 2.5 - 3 sq / m on calibrated tiles, even application 5-6mm. Uncalibrated tiles coverage reduces to approx 1.75 sq / m.
Approx 180 sq / m per 70 bag pallet

Use
Mira 3230 superrapidfix is applicable for fixing of wall and floor tiles on stable substrates made of concrete, concrete elements, light weight concrete, gypsum cardboard, anhydrite or cement based plaster, cast asphalt, water- or electric heated substrates, painted or primed surfaces, old tiles, terrazzo, surfaces insulated with 4400 multicoat and 4120 sealer, where quick progress of works is needed. Concrete substrates are reckoned stable when approx. half of the drying shrinkage has occurred. Can substitute 3130 superfix where faster hardening of the adhesive is required.
Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be stable, dry, compact, cleaned of dust, grease, oil etc. Concrete slurry (if any) should be removed, weaker parts of substrate should be removed and then repaired again. Dust can be removed with a vacuum cleaner. Grease, oil, dirt should be cleaned with 7110 base cleaner. Absorptive substrates should be primed with mira 4120 sealer, thinned with water, in the ratio: 1 part of 4120 sealer and 3 parts of water. Non-absorptive substrate e.g. made of ceramic tiles etc. need not to be primed.
Technical conditions
a. Mixing
The mortar should be mixed for 2-3 minutes using a slow-revolving glue mixer in proportion: approx. 0,25 l of water for 1 kg of powder, then it is ready-to-use.
b. Application
Prepared mortar should be applied with a smooth side of a trowel and spread well on the surface, then spread with a toothed side of a trowel. Tooth size depends on the tile size.
c. Temperature:
Minimum air and substrate temperature +6°C
d. Application time:
After mixing with water the mortar should be applied within 25-30 minutes. Spreading of mortar and fixing of tiles should be made within 10-15 min.
